THE GIRL FROM IPANEMA

You have heard the song: The Girl From Ipanema, but did you know that she really does exist?  Yes, the story in the song is true.  A guy did fall in love with a young woman as he watched her walk to the beach each day.  And yes, the beach was called Ipanema which is in Rio De Janeiro Brazil. Her name is Helo Pinheiro.  Here you will see the woman whose beauty inspired the internationally famous song.   She later dyed her blonde.  Personally, I prefer her natural hair color.
